Wow! What a muddy but fantastic way to finish off the year!
We hope you all agree, what a super morning we all had on Friday!

On Friday morning in true nursery tradition, we went on our nursery trip!
This year we decided to visit Binscarth Woods.
Some creatures had been there already as we quickly discovered!
'A mouse took a stroll
through the deep dark wood.
A fox saw the mouse
and the mouse looked good.'
That's right, you've guessed it! Our trip to the woods had a 'Gruffalo' theme.
'Amazing' said the Gruffalo
Busy on the trail!
Lots of the children were keen to explore and find lots of items on their sheets.
Exploring new places is great fun!
This was the muddiest part!
What good fun many of you had here!
You enjoyed using your nets and buckets in the stream, swinging on the tyre swing and really just getting as muddy as you could!
Mud, Mud, glorious mud.............

We enjoyed our 'Gruffalo' themed snack at the Gruffalo area.
We used the natural materials we could find in the woods to make a super Gruffalo too.
At the snake area, you had great fun playing the snake game and building bike long snakes with the branches.

A massive 'Thank You' to everyone who came on the trip with us.
Without you, we simply couldn't go on a trip like this.
Your support is greatly appreciated.

Now all that's left to say is have a fantastic summer holiday!
Let's hope the sun has got his hat on!

Well what a busy last week in the nursery!
On Tuesday morning it was time for the nursery team to make a final fuss of all of the preschool boys and girls!
We have watched them develop from little people to confident individuals, all ready to leave us and start their next learning journey in Primary One!
How did that happen so quickly?
We will miss them all but wish them good luck and we won't be far away!

It was time for their Graduation to begin!
A big 'Thank You' to Mr McIntosh who joined us for the graduation on Tuesday.
It was time to come up on to the stage and receive their Graduation certificates!
A little tap on the head with the graduation hat and it was time to collect their 'Graduation Goodie Bag'
We hope you all enjoy sharing their learning files with them.
These are now yours to keep and hold many special memories of their time with us in the nursery!
We had 25 very special people that graduated with us today.
After the graduation ceremony it was time for some 'Champagne' and strawberries nursery style!
A huge 'Thank You' to everyone who joined us and helped to make it a day to remember for us all.
It was time to enjoy our fantastic Graduation cake too!
Well Done Ladies, you know who you are!
Not only did the cake look fantastic but it tasted amazing too!
A huge goodbye and good luck to all of our boys and girls who are heading off to Primary One.

Phew! It's been another busy few weeks in the nursery and we thought you might like a little update of some of the many things we have been up to.

Here are some pictures of our Preschool boys and girls.
They have been very busy with their transition activities as they get ready to head off to start their new journey in Primary One.

Here they are having a fantastic time in their first PE lesson in the hall!
They all had great fun and showed us their super listening and following instruction skills.

Can you spot some of our preschool children!
They had great fun using their imagination as they explored our scrap store equipment.
Throughout this term, our preschoolers have enjoyed exploring the 'big' school playground too.
 Time to Dance!
A huge thank you to Vicky who came in this term to do so dancing with us.

We had great fun.
We used the ribbons to move and dance to the rhythm and beat of the music.

Mud, glorious mud!!
We had a mud kitchen outside the nursery last week!
Lots of us got really messy but we all had great fun!
We were busy making mud pies, mud tea and lots of other yummy food!
