And finally, Spring has fingers crossed arrived!
As the sun has started to pop out from behind a cloud, we have been busy enjoying getting out and about!
We have been busy hunting for a variety of bugs in the compost.
Using clipboards, some of us have been keen to mark make as we counted how many of each bug we could spot.
Fun with the big tunnel as the sun shone and the wind blew.
Quick, run........
Time for a little planting to begin in our planters too.
We had lots of helpers who were keen to plant the seeds and give them a big drink.
Enjoying the lovely sunshine.
We explored the big playground today. We went on a little adventure as we explored the bridge, the house and the Mugga.
As we get ready for the busy tourist season, it was time to open Orkney's newest tourist attraction!
Lots of very willing children to give you a guided tour of our Castle.
Lots of fun as we investigated shapes this week with the tap a shape.
More shape fun as we learned more about turn taking and sharing with our shape dominoes.
Time for some bug fun too.
We loved how fast the snails and slugs could move!
We enjoyed exploring them so much that we are waiting for our caterpillars to arrive. We are hoping the children enjoy watching these as they turn into beautiful butterflies.
As our preschoolers are getting ready for their journey to Primary One, we continued our exploring of the school.
This week we visited the music room.
What a fantastic time they had here!
Look at all our future budding musicians.
We think they would all love another wee trip back here!
