Sorry it's been a little while since we have posted some pictures!
It's been a very busy couple of weeks here in the nursery.

Here are some pictures to let you know some of the many things we have been getting up to!

Last Friday we had a special Chinese snack to celebrate Chinese New Year and the year of the Rooster!

We opened up our own Chinese Take Away for the day.
We enjoyed our noodles, prawn crackers, soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce.
It was delicious and we all enjoyed it.

Here are some of the children busy in the art room, adding paint to our enormous Chinese Fan.
Once the paint was dry, we looked carefully at the letters in the Chinese Alphabet.
Some of us very carefully, added some of these letters on too.
It looks fab!

We were busy celebrating Burns Day too.
We all enjoyed some Scottish Dancing in the hall.
Mrs Smith is learning to play the Bagpipes.
She very kindly popped in to see us too.
She played on her Chanter and her bagpipes for us to hear.

Some of us had a wee try on the Chanter too.
Many of us had a wee play on Miss Begley's fiddle too.

We have been out and about the school with our binoculars and bird food too.

We all enjoyed our super walks around the school grounds.
We spotted seagulls, pigeons and blackbirds.
One group were very excited as they even spotted a seal too!

Peep!
Watch out the nursery are out and about!
Can you see us?

We have been out and about enjoying the lovely January days too.

Some of the children have been very keen to build more obstacle courses!
Balancing fun!

As the children continued their interest in the doctor role play, we had a very special visitor.

Ben visited the Monday pm session last week too!
A huge Thank You to Ben for popping in.
The children all had a fantastic visit.
Here we have our own little ambulance drivers!

Remember to keep looking back to find out what is happening in the nursery!
