Another fun filled and busy week here in the Nursery.

Many of the children have been interested in pouring, filling and transporting water.

Following their interests we had some super water fun outside this week.
Some children were keen to find out how we could make the water go faster down the guttering.
Others were keen to talk about full and empty.
We also investigated floating!

Balancing fun.
We were busy risk assessing and finding out where he felt comfortable to jump!
With practice we all gained in confidence.

Many of the children have been busy pretending to bake in the flour and in the playdough.
Following their interest, some of the children choose to help make some scones.
They were very popular!

More sandpit fun!
Some of us enjoyed making huge sand castles this week!

We had some very busy scientists in the water this week!
They explored the different coloured waters.
Many were keen to watch how coloured bowls changed colour when placed in coloured water!
Super observations!

Paint Scraping in the tough spot!
Some of us explored the different textures made by the scrapers.
Others enjoyed feeling the texture of the paint on their hands.

We explored the break out area outside the P1/2 classes this week.
They have a super pirate ship role play area and they invited us to play!

Some of the children continued to look after our new snail, slug and amazing huge green caterpillars this week.

We had great fun looking after them.
On Friday we popped them back out to enjoy their natural habitat.

Mixing and working our fingers as we made some new playdough.
We were busy learning about measurement as we added the correct amount of each ingredient.
What fantastic imaginative play we have observed in the construction area!

Splashing fun in the rain and our waterproofs!

We also popped along to this weeks Achievement Assembly.
Some of the nursery boys and girls were very lucky and received a special Head Teacher Award.
